High-stakes systems
Ten years in the U.S. Navy, including four years as a lead CIWS instructor teaching one of the fleet’s most complex defensive weapons systems—and service as a Command Fitness Leader.

Private strategy · Human performance · Systems architecture
Griffin Pierce works with a small number of founders, executives, athletes, and high-responsibility individuals to see the whole situation clearly—and make better decisions across life, leadership, and work.
A small number of private relationships each year.
See the whole system. Change what matters.
01 / Private Work
A different kind of advisory
Griffin serves as a private strategist and systems architect for the person behind the work. The relationship begins with the whole human—not a narrow problem, a rigid curriculum, or a weekly coaching formula.
A business decision may be inseparable from sleep, physical capacity, marriage, friendship, money, communication, identity, or the pressure of leadership. Treating those as unrelated problems usually leaves the real system untouched.
The work may include long-form strategy, physical practice, observation inside the real environment, in-person time, coordination with other experts, and access between formal conversations—whatever the situation genuinely requires.
A trusted strategic relationship, shaped around the person and the situation.
Discreet, direct, and designed to strengthen the client’s own judgment—not create dependence on an adviser.
Seven parts of one system. Choose one to see what it is bound to.

A Griffin’s Perspective
The eagle creates distance enough to see the whole landscape. The lion conserves energy until action matters. Griffin brings both: the altitude to recognize patterns from outside the system and the steadiness to intervene without manufacturing urgency.
See broadly. Intervene selectively. Build deliberately.

Continuing study in neuro-linguistic programming and behavior-based communication, alongside practical work with natural-language processing and software teams—the human and machine sides of language made explicit.

The useful middle
Griffin’s work lives between apparent opposites: technical and human, masculine and feminine, force and recovery, military and creative, physical and conceptual, human language and machine language.
The point is not balance for its own sake. It is access to the right quality at the right moment.
03 / Ideas

For organizations
The lens is related; the boundary is different. Private work serves the person carrying the responsibility. Company Systems serves the organization carrying the work.
Griffin brings this systems perspective inside founder-led companies. Stewart Moreland of Plotr tests the technical possibilities. Together, they help leadership understand the company before deciding what to change, automate, or build.
Griffin finds what should change. Stewart determines what technology can responsibly do about it.
